The positive side of things; being allergic and living around the world.
An imaginary walk around the magnificent lake of Geneva, we enjoy the view from our terrace. While I listen to my daughter Nuria playing the violin. Starting my web log since yesterday evening, and learning about new possibilities in this flat world.
To gain and create my own modest and necessary access to the world, writing whenever I feel to write and open up the world of allergies we live in my household. here in Lausanne, with my husband, my three girls, our extended family and friends.
For me, the beginning, today is a day to try and to retry: describing a few of my thoughts.
But one goal I have, is: to find an audience, passive and active by sharing food allergies.
What is life about for young kids to have these life threatening kinds of allergies?
How can your life be super even when you are suffering from severe allergies?
My point of view is: looking at the bright side. The positive way of looking at allergies in daily situations. Parenting means for me being aware of my daughter's well being and giving her all the possibilities in exploring her young life without fear and feeling safe!
The challenge is huge and I don't know the answer to most situations and yet I believe in my way of doing the things connected to her allergies.
It's what works for us.....
and would love to be that mother who can share these experiences and try to be the one who can be a source of ideas and inspiration, a listener too for other parents and allergic kids.
Our life in different countries has been both a challenge and a enrichment. Allergies are part of our life and as such traveled along. We can't make them go away but we went away and the horizons broadened up for all of us.
Knowledge is most important and ignorance is unbelievable dangerous where we encounter children, young people and even young adults with allergies.
