Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Connection

It's just another drive to the school. But as excited as always. Never a dull moment during Rabat traffic hours. my allergy girl sits next to me, we are all propped up in the car because of the broken heel bone. So two spots, no three places are reserved for my husband's plaster and then the space that we can still fill is stocked with goodies like schoolbags, lunch boxes, sport bags, flutes, books, hair brusher and then their are the girls and me. This all looks for the average car that passes by and spend a look and our interior as a family heading a long road... messy, noisy, whiny...some .
The drama queen in the back of the car, 'Claudia' almost strangled by the plaster and my allergy girl next to me. It's Friday and that means a week since last Saturday swim meet in the public pool of Rabat. And just today, 7 days later my allergy girl's skin is coming along much better, softer, nicer, hardly any red and rash spots in her neck. A week of cortisone cream is the result of one morning of swimming. Not good ... but putting a stop to swim practice is not an alternative!

Perfect skin. Seems the glamor message now days but, I still like to believe that a little imperfectness makes the beauty just more real! It reflects the personality that is inside. Courage we need, teens and their parents and I as her mom. For those who like to believe that beauty is about connection. See an appearance as a mirror of your self, your soul...................... Any one agreeing or disagreeing?
