Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Monday Morning

The trend you see in Europe and the US is that people suffer more intense from allergies. A development that is difficult to define, to measure, to cope with, to understand. It's about reason and vulnerability.
An octopus or an chameleon. The tentacles, strangled around the body. The allergies appear with their various looks. I observe a trend here with my allergy daughter. It's recent. It's a stream of reactions we hardly ever had in such a staccato tempo. And these reactions are not caused by any peanuts or nuts.
It's allergies all the time! Every day,  morning and evening.
At the time she starts eating, she feels sick immediately or soon after and needs extra medication. Then she admits that the normally quick positive sign of feeling better stays out. So she serves her self an extra doses. This is not good! Right now

I don't understand where we are going. I can't think of a solution. The only strategy must be: avoiding anything that could cause of a new break out.
Monday morning the house still peaceful, a family wakes up, rituals, all like to start up slowly the new week. And she feels already so terrible.

Sitting at my desk, view into the garden, blue stripes at the sky, soft wind, dawn drops on the grass, out door noise, chilly. Nespresso.
Why this sudden thunderstorm of allergies?
How come?
Are we doing something different?
Is this a new trend?
Is she getting more allergic?
Is it the weather, the pollen?
Is it the specific Rabat Climate?
Cross contamination?
Food allergies and pollen?
Monday morning? Certainly but there is more. There is almost always as often as there are her allergies, positivism and her smile! Tons of courage and a believe that things will be better someday! There are projects and ideas, long term plans and wishes!
