Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Allergy free & food safety

Allergy free, that's what we go through. Solange feels great, no problems so far. While eating at home, self made lunches in take away pack, back packed on her way to the American School in Rabat, no pollen polluting the air life seems so easy. And even if she started intensive swimming last week with the sea lions, we don't see any skin reactions for now. Is this a positive symptom? Yes it is and it makes everything so easy. While I focus on my writing, I like to finish the booklet about her before Christmas, I think it is unthinkable that she will get over it completely. Have the results on my desk on behalf of the recent blood tests in Fance, Lyon. Arachide and all kind of nuts remain alert subjects, no space for risk takers.
With 4 more years to go before her graduation, I like the idea of a guide for her and her collegae students in the near future and even the last years at high school. A kind of brilliant list suitable in all kind of situations one get into, while living on a campus, as a fresh student.
How to survive allergies, what to do when partying, how to stay far away from peanut and nuts consumers, act reasonable and responsable, never losing your attenton while nipping a drink. Nightmare script or reality? What is common sense and how do you prepare your teen for these kind of situations. There are colleges where there exist a serious allergy policy.

Helping Students Avoid Food Allergens

It's no doubt that the first year on campus for college freshman is always a challenging time.  For an increasing number of teens, living with food allergies heightens their anxiety level more than the average first year student.
