Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Traditions and thoughts

The Moroccan bowls with their different colors are out on the table. These small bowls are just lovely with their silver plate borders and all kind of tiny things will perfectly fit in these bowls. The wish we like to keep secret or just kept on the mind for some time. Small boxes to close with a lid. Flavors that conserve the time and take you back and connect your mind to a moment that has gone with the wind and remains in your memories. While smells treat your mind in a peaceful way and set your mood into an attitude of happiness. The lavender I keep with me, ever since a lived in Cassis, where I took it from the fields, triggers the brains and seduces time after time. Creates softness and relaxation. I feel and live with senses where my peanut girl is able to set her temperature when she is surrounded by flavors and aromas causing her brains to react because it is about her health and being safe. All those magnificent natural flavors and spices, fruits and plants we find in the backyard and who make it so easy to progress and have the safe meals for her and the rich taste for us. There is no need for rules when you're since ever adapted to the natural taste of ingredients and nutrition, natural from mother soil, pure and local. I learn so much of all those friends who are from other places on the globe. How far away of traditional local tastes they grew up. The simple food rules still go along when you adapt the golden rule, eat local, live simple and honest. Good taste never change. I am so excited in my search for recipes along the path of my life and the travels with my parents during my childhood and my life abroad with my own family and the allergies of our peanut girl. A grandfather who baked our Christmas bread with such a flair and his cold hands working the dough. The pictures remember the image of the Christmas table and shows the bread like a beautiful gift with a red ribbon from him to us. Black and white photos developed in the dark room upstairs. Senses again: esthetically design, art, seventh art and culinary belongings, older generations stay alive with the remake of good and traditional recipes.
