Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

La vie est belle!

With the extraordinary temperatures in Rabat, I keep my fingers crossed that this hot weather doesn't mean a cause for eczema. I mean the changes of climate these last weeks: tremendous rainfall followed by beautiful dry warm weather, which will probably, develop into wet and warm days and then most expectable into colder and dry.  These transitions are not comfortable for sensitive skins at all. my allergy girl is everywhere she goes creaming her face. Lips, eye lids and arms do suffer.
Flowers are blossoming and it's gorgeous outside with all the fresh colors. New leaves coming out. We will have some nice salads tonight instead of making a warm dish we can be seduced again by light compositions. Some fresh leaves of salad together with Italian and Moroccan cheese, raisins and dried apricots finished with fresh lemon juice and olive oil. Large oranges cut in slices, bananas and strawberries from local markets. And how could I forget the mandarins. It's absolutely the richness of this country that provides color to our table these days. During this time of the year the Christmas tree will enter some of our homes to welcome the new season with her greenery and new branches. That's what we will enjoy also when we leave next week to colder parts of the world. We will have our bodies back in the snow and the tongue will discover new dishes while we celebrate with my family in Praque. Here, right now, we can enjoy the magnificent parade of fruit, her colors and sweet tastes all along the season until we throw ourselves into spring. La vie tellement belle! The lemons turning yellow in the back of the garden, winter season evolves absolutely a new adventure while we notice mother nature in her pure appearance.
